Renault Master X70 Series

The Renault Master X70 Series was released in Australia in August 2004.

The country of origin of the Renault Master is France and this vehicle is becoming well accepted for motorhome conversion in Australia.

Products available for the Renault Master include insect screening solutions for all openings, custom patterned sun shields and a lightweigth awning for the rear door area.

Insect Screens for Window Openings:

The Flexible Magnetic Insect Screens for the passenger and drivers door window openings attaches internally to the trim that surrounds the retractible glass. A sub frame with an adhesive back is provided that permanently attaches to the non ferrous window trim to provide a ferrous surface for the insect screen to magnetically attach. The side windows are usually aftermarket windows fitted by the motorhome builder. Flexible Magnetic Insect Screens are available for any window opening but we will confirm the dimensions of the side windows prior to manufacture.

To maximise flow through ventilation in your Renault Master Motorhome the best combination is Flexible Magnetic Insect Screens installed on the passenger and driver door window openings in combination with a tailgate opening Flexible Magnetic Insect Screen. Flexible Magnetic Insect Screens installed on the passenger and driver door window openings where the passenger and or drivers seats rotate through 180 degrees provides for fresh air movement directly adjacent to your seating position.

The Flexible Magnetic Insect Screen  rolls up for storage in a tube or optionally can be stored flat.

Flexible Magnetic Insect Screening products are available to screen the following windows:

1. Passenger Door Window Opening for INTERNAL installation .
2. Drivers Door Window Opening for INTERNAL installation .
3. Any aftermarket window opening (dimensions need to be confirmed prior to manufacture)

Insect Screen for Sliding Door Opening:

The sliding door opening is nominally 1160mm wide x 1815mm high.

Because the sliding door upper support arm returns inside the vehicle at the head of the door opening the Renault Master sliding door insect screen requires the top front corner of the insect screen to be re-configured to accomodate the travel of the support arm as the sliding door is opened and closed.

The Flexible Magnetic Insect Screen component is comprised of two overlapping mesh panels supported in a track that is fixed internally at the top of the door opening. Flexible magnet provides the seal down each side of the opening and between the overlapping mesh panels. The bottom seal is also provided by a flexible magnetic fastener.

Entry into and exit out of the vehicle is simply a matter of pushing against the mesh to break the magnetic seal and then moving through the overlapping mesh panels. When insects are not an issue one half of the width of the insect screen can be slid out of the track and folded back and secured against the other half of the screen to provide one half of the door opening with an unobstructed thoroughfare.

The sliding door insect screen can be totally removed in around 10 to 15 seconds for cleaning and is just as easy to reinstall. When the sliding door insect screen is not required it can be easily removed for storage using the optional storage hanger.

The sliding door insect Screen is an effective barrier against insect entry.

Insect Screen for Tailgate Opening:

The rear opening is nominally 1660mm wide at the widest point and 1875 mm high.

A Flexible Magnetic Insect Screen for the tailgate opening is comprised of three overlapping mesh panels secured internally at the head of the door opening in a track. The seal for the left and right side vertical perimeters is also provided by a fixed tracking system.

The seal between the three overlapping mesh panels is provided by a two part flexible magnetic fastener that runs for the full depth of the tailgate opening. The bottom seal is provided in part by hook and loop fastener and in part by a flexible magnetic fastener.

The centre panel of the tailgate insect screen can be rolled up out of the way and held in place with two ties that are attached to the top of the insect screen assembly.

The tailgate opening Flexible Magnetic Insect Screen can be easily removed for cleaning and/or storage and reinstalled by sliding the insect screens perimeter into the fixed tracking system.

Entry into and out of the tailgate of your vehicle is simply a matter of breaking the magnetic seal of the centre panel by pushing on the mesh and moving through the overlapping panels. The product is robust and provides an effective barrier against insect entry.

Sun Shields for Thermal Protection and Privacy:

Sun Shields are available for internal installation to the windscreen only, or optionally, as a cabin set (includes windscreen, and also the passenger and drivers door windows).

Sun Shields can also be made for any other window or hatch in your vehicle. Please email us
with the dimensions of the windows for a quote.

Lightweight Awning for Rear of Vehicle:

A lightweight awning that provides protection to the rear of the vehicle between the rear barn doors enhances the comfort of your motorhome.

The side perimeters of the awning slides into a track system that is attached internally to each of the upper door panels whilst the rear of the awning attaches to the underside of the rear door opening. The lightweight awning provides shade to the rear of the vehicle and prevents rain from entering the rear opening of the motorhome.

The rear awning is an excellent accessory to maximise the benefits of the tailgate opening insect screen.
