Insect Screening Solution for Sliding Door Openings and Large Tailgate Openings on Vehicles

Top Gear 2 Go is pleased to announce the new Rollaway Cassette Insect Screening System for the sliding door openings and tailgate openings of campervans and motorhomes.

The system is comprised of two parts:

The first part is a quality extruded aluminium cassette and running track that supports and contains the insect screening mesh within a rectangular frame opening.

The second part is comprised of the patented Flexible Magnetic Insect Screen for Vehicles which takes up the void between the insect screen door frame and the compound shapes around the vehicle door opening, the cupboards and the galley that protrude into the door opening.

The Cassetted Insect Screening System is available as a rollaway installation (opening from one side to the other) or as a rollup installation (fopening from top to bottom). The size of the door opening is only limited by the geometry of the vehicle opening and the fixtures that may intrude into the opening.

The images of a recent installation feature a Rollaway Cassetted Insect Screening System installed into a Fiat Torino Whiz Bang door opening.

There were a number of compound shapes to screen, including around the wardrobe and galley cupboards that protruded into the vehicles door opening in addition to sealing off around the upper whiz bang door runner that is supported in a track located within the vehicle.

It would not be possible to provide functional insect screening around these compound shapes without the application of the Flexible Magnetic Insect Screen for Vehicles.

The Rollaway Cassetted Insect Screening System is not available in kit form and can only be installed by Top Gear 2 Go at our premises at the Gold Coast , Queensland.

The cost of the installation is variable, subject to the configuration of your vehicle and whether you choose the rollaway option or the rollup option; but most installations would be between $700 to $1500.
