HOW TO MEASURE
Notes Regarding the Measurements Taken by You.
The measurements taken by you have a multiple purpose:
- Pricing: Your dimensions will allow you to calculate the price of each
screen.
- Confirmation: that the vehicle’s window size is correct for that year model
and/or that the window has not been modified by a previous owner.
- Manufacturing: For Flexible Magnetic Insect Screens your dimensions will
represent the internal dimensions of the insect screen frame. The finished size
of the screen will be larger than the dimensions supplied by you by the width
and depth of the magnetic frame; thus providing for the frame to magnetically
attach to the ferrous metal body work of your vehicle that surrounds the window
panel.
About Measuring
- Always use a steel tape measure for accuracy. DO NOT use a cloth tape - they can stretch.
- Measure and round off to the nearest mm.
- Measure the width and write it down.
- Measure the depth and write it down.
- Always indicate the WIDTH measurement first, then the DEPTH measurement last
(W x D).
- Please check all measurements.
- Your measurements are entered on the product specification sheet for the
product of your selection. Just fill in the measurements on the product page when ordering online.
